    Hi all,

I currently use free domain name and free web hosting. And planning to buy domain name. But I cannot buy hosting space now. Because the cost is more for me. At least I cannot buy hosting for another three months.

Can I go ahead with .com domain with free webhosting?

    Need suggestions.

    Kanna

Hey, if you buy a .com domain via http://www.greenlush.com and email link them to this thread then theyll do you 100MB for free for the first 3months. Then after 4 months its $1.50 a month. .com domain names are only $9.95 from them too. Just email them and theyll email you back a coupon code.

I work for there Tech support,

    Thanks,

    Jorik

There is a link on my site http://www.widgetopians.com that claims to have free web hosting with no ads or banners. The package looks pretty good although I haven't tried it.

yes you can go ahead and but the .com now, I don't know about other domain registrars but godaddy lets you forward the domain, so buy it and forward it to your free domain until you have money for webhosting.

If you are worried about costs, then you should buy a domain name from dotster.com, they have an offer, which will allow you to purchase domain names for $1 only. :p
Use "corvette" as the promotional coupon code, when checking out.:)

I use Dotster, and I've been very happy with them.

They also have a coupon to get 5 free domain names with any hosting package, which is an amazing deal. Their plans start at $5.31 a month.

mediacatch.com is a good host. For $9 per month you get 350 mb of storage and 5 gig transfer. From my experience though they will pricematch within reason so I am getting a package for around $5 per month from them.

Tons of free space, even more TONS of bandwith, and free domains. CHEAP AS HELL! (if you use Dreamhost let me know and I will find you a coupon for 97USD off, or your setup fee weaved if you get a month-to-month)
