oh for fucks sake will you just stop your pathetic childish whinging, you've made your point, no-ones interested so you can either get on with it or just go away. You've "used" the forum for 7 years and you have made a massive 64 posts in that time, thats what you are, a "user" you just want to take without giving anything back
Internet evolves everyday, old information are almost useless. In those kind of threads, read the replies.
That sounds like you're just looking in the General Chat, there's a lot of quality threads in the various other sections.
I bet Malky has over 50 posts in section Feedback with posts simular to the last one, attacking people who are posting their suggestions or complaining. This is spam, and it is for a ban .
Well, it's not right to attack anyone for voicing an opinion, but I think some of the members are getting tired of seeing the same old complaints, my suggestion to them would be to stop reading these threads if it's annoying/bothering/frustrating them. Otherwise, maybe try to help guide the non-established to find a better way to their destination.
I'm finding it very hard not to agree with you. Here are the raw stats: the second most popular section is Google with 110.959 threads, the most popular section is B/S/T with 1.263.294 threads. Some might notice a bit of a discrepancy there. DigitalPoint is not about the community, it is about the marketplace. Any opinion to the contrary is disingenuous at best. Regards, George
Is there any fight between "Marketers" and "Discussants"? Because I think there is enough room for both groups
I'm not going to be drawn into personal abuse - I think my points are all relevant and give insight from a group who are less likely to post in the Feedback section and more likely to just take their money elsewhere, as I pointed out before. Whether I have made 64 or 64,000 posts is really irrelevant to my argument. I think you're missing the point that I am not complaining, nor am I throwing my toys out of the pram, I am merely putting forward a well reasoned and valid argument as to why I believe something is the case. I don't gain any business from DigitalPoint or sell my services here so it's not like I am getting my strop on because I'm losing money due to the changes. If you have valid points (that aren't direct insults and instead are mature, well thought-out posts) to make in return, I look forward to hearing them!
As I said, suggesting and complaining is what we do, you are exactly what you've described me as. If that's a spam, this is spam as well . Maybe you could both accept what Colleen said and go on with your life .
I just Click on the Whats New button and whooops all this "What is SEO" "What is your favorite color threads turns up." Yeah sure maybe I should not do that but I did and just miss DP as it was before it was more "quality"
“The key to success is often the ability to adapt†“The wise adapt themselves to circumstances, as water moulds itself to the pitcherâ€
Right now, DP is full of people selling stuff. I miss the OLD DP where DP full of people BUYING stuff.
I don't think so, there are still many buyers here, maybe you're the one who have no luck finding buyers here
Yeah except now, the new Buyer can't create a new thread. In Old DP new buyer can easily create thread. I think it is much better if the "likes" limitation only applied to someone who want create a selling thread, not buying thread.
