I have many transactions since I registered here and I also provided some posts and commenting for discussion. So I am not only active in Marketplace and I think I also gave a positive input for this site/forum. Now, I can't post a thread under Links Sales sub-tab because I am not an established member and only have 1 likes from established member. It's a big question for me.
Well, some of us provide jobs for designers and creative people on this forum. I run regular logo design contests and DP has always been my first point of call. A client of mine needs an urgent logo, and as usual i quickly rushed down to my "beloved" DP forum only to be greeted with the news that i have only 2 likes - therefore cannot post jobs for those that eagerly needs them. Is anyone thinking of the detriments of these strict rules???? What do someone in my position do then? Go on to google.com and start searching for Dpforum alt....tive?? I'm confused!!!!!!!!!!
The new look is cool. Not many folks may be using a Symbian smartphone here. I own a Nokia e6 smartphone. Previously, DP could not be rendered properly on my phone. It was quite difficult for me to reply to threads and open private messages to check and reply to messages. However, the new look has made it quite easy to seamlessly access DP on my phone. I am happy.
On the whole I like it - the layout is a lot cleaner than before and the content creation and content forums are now much easier to navigate due to the "like" system. A lot of people would join here, post spam and get banned and recreate accounts, now they can't post in the BST without becoming an established member - this is a great way to lower the amount of spam in my opinion. A couple of things I don't like are not being able to delete multiple PMs in one go - I still get dozens of spam messages when I post threads looking for either links or writers, and also the fact that we can't read what has been added to a thread by email but it looks like that is just something that needs to be worked out. On the whole though I love the new forum
I don't like that fact the digitalpoint ignore the face that some people here waste a lot of time in the paste to get some privileges like itrade for example. And they just choose to remove it. I don't see the how the like system would help i think most people won't bother to give like to a trade or a post and that make it really hard to get likes and the truth is that i don't really understand the point for those likes i don't this it will make users to create more quality trades. The ones that used to do that in the past will keep doing that, the ones that didn't do that and earned the privileges to post on the buy sell trade for example should have them left or at least the history of the itrades.
True but people can't the feedbacks that people wrote, so it have no effect at all, i think that if it was there or not it will hold no effect. If it is there, there should be an option to see the feedbacks as well and not just the count of that.
Shawn did put up two threads about two years ago regarding iTrader being ditched and regarding Instant Pay (which was available back then). Any transactions that were conducted using Instant Pay over those two years can still have feedback added. So, to be fair, he did give people plenty of warning and time.
With this new look, if we can still get a positive iTrader too? important or not get it with the new rules?
Post something unique, useful, and even funny.. First you may do posting because you have to get 3 Likes.. After you got that, you will get back here more frequently after knowing the advantages of being active on this forum.. I mean, it's just like a stimulus to wake you up and see the whole forum and realize that there are many great and interesting information here.. This was what I felt..
Here's a post with 86 likes... if you write good posts, you will get likes. Bottom line. https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/link-building-tips-and-resources.224828/
