I've had my forum for about 3 years now, and I've only had Adsense since this past June. Earned $58.xx total so far, and I'd like to optimize that. After reading through many different threads on here, I see that I have a lot of room to improve, as I can make that amount in a day. This is great, because I love to improve in any and every way I can. My site is www.BoostedK20.com and I haven't set up any niches or anything for my Adsense. All help is appreciated, thank you very much.

I'm sure you guys get these threads all the time, so don't hate me if this is yet another one. I read the FAQ and learned a few things, but I still don't know where to start. Thanks!

Patiently waiting for advice, I've done more reading and research but I can't get the information I'm looking for. I might be set up incorrectly, but I won't know until I get some help.

    Thanks in advance

If you have had the same type of ad units try switching them up every once and a while. Same goes with placement if they are always after the first post try the second, third, fourth, etc. Honestly, I ran a forum for a while until the community kind of faded away, I didn't make too much off it. Your numbers are close to what I was seeing. To increase you need more targeted traffic, it's not easy to get.

Well, my issue is I don't know how to properly make a channel. I believe my channel wasn't setup properly, and I was hoping someone could help me set it up properly. I've looked in many places, and I can't seem to find the right information.

Google "Adsense Academy" - it's a free walkthrough and checklist from Google Adsense that helps you get everything setup properly and maximized. Once you get it setup correctly I would not stop there, I would then start testing MANY different things such as ad placement, size of ads, ads with borders, ads without borders, different colors etc. See which combo gives you the best CTR and then you can fully maximize your earnings.

i take for granted you use vBulletin forums? MAke sure to put 1 leaderboard ad at the begining of the theads (close to the header) and in a post after the first post (like is done on digitalpoint) This will allow you to make good money.

I have a un-launched forum ... here is the link www.x720.es remember, its unfinished but you can take a example of the ads.

Thanks guys, great information. I've been looking them over, I'm going to sit now and optimize for the next few hours. As for ad placement, I've had two square ads at the top of my forum and one after the first post (but that is for unregistered users). I felt that two separate ads up top was better for a mix of ads. Two different ads, one might stimulate more of an interest than the other as opposed to one ad and can be a complete miss. I'm going to start messing with ad size and details as a start. And I'm going to set my channel up, thank you guys. Any and all information is appreciated, keep it coming!

Next question: If another forum is made, do I need to create another AdSense account?

No, you shall use the same account for your new forum. Everyone can only have one adsense account, it can be used for multiple website. Having more than one adsense account is not allowed
