Website Submitter - new directory submitter software

I purchased the software about 2 weeks ago but just got around to downloading and running it last night.

The installation was a breeze, and the interface is very nice.

I'm having an issue with the submission form fields not being auto-filled on at least 50% of the first 20 free directories to which I submitted. The description field is the one that gets filled only about half the time.

I appears that all the submission form fields load fine when the software sends me directly to a submission page without having to first select a category. However, if I'm sent to a page where I must first select a category (ie; directory home page) then all the submission form fields load only about 50% of the time. Usually it is the description field that does not auto-load.

I stopped the submissions after around 20 directories because it was taking too long to manually fill these fields.

Any ideas what is going on with this?

You must download the last version from the website. We use a database patterns that is not actualize from the normal button UPDATE. Some of the fields that are not filled automatic can be with right click filled. We are also going to release a 1.3.1 version containing some additional patterns and also some new features regarding the filing. We have added and added functionalities on the filling (like category etc) and we are getting closer to a better submitter.

The ideal is to have 100% all fields completed but is almost impossible. For the ones not filled you can always use right-click "Paste website url" (or other function "Paste title" etc).

It is normal. The directories are having 3 types:

- the ones that accept submission from a single pages
- directories that ask you to browse before you choose a category and then click on add url

The second case cannot be tricked so you can navigate tothis category. The good thing is that the second category is around 30% of the directories maybe less.

 

Ah, I see ... that is the purpose of the "right-click-paste" functionality.

Maybe had I read through the 180 posts I would have been able to answer that for myself.

I think this is an impressive piece of software.

 

No problem. I am also kind of scared of the thread size. If you have any question you can also send using the support option from the application. We are responding as soon we receive it.

Also new features requests are accepted so be creative.

 

i really want the multiple internal submission windows. say 10 windows...

wht abt directories which need recip? do you have a html file with all recips, which i can put in my website?

I will look as I said in implementing multiple windows submission. It will not come in 1.3.1 but maybe in a next version.

Regarding the reciprocal now the application is filling the reciprocal link back (with the url you have defined). You have the option to copy the reciprocal and add it in a own file using the copy/paste function. An automatism of the saving the linkback html code is not implemented.

Could be indeed a nice feature request, I am discussing with my team about this to see how and at which point we can come up with this feature.

 

ok how abt the softwate generates a html table with all the recips one below another after i finish submitting to directories tht need recips?

so i can copy the table on to url i used in recip url field?

 

The problem is that at submission when you click on SUBMIT in the directory the linkbank is checked. So does not work if you added after the submission is done. The linkbank must be at that point created and uploaded otherwise the dirctory will say that the linkback cannot be verified. SO the saving in a file and uploading at the finishing will not work.

I read through this entire thread and tried your software again. What a difference using that righ-click-paste option.

What really gets me though is just how many free directories are in your database that I had not submitted to. I hope you continue to add more to the database.

Thank you srik79. We gather all the requirements and as until I will post them here. The changes will come probably in 1-4. In 1.3.1 for tomorrow will come some small updates like live Google PR of the navigated page.

Thank you andheresjohnny for your kind words. Now there are 2091 directories and we are making updates daily. We are now for example prepared a regional category "German directories" containing german directories.

Not yet shenron. I am still working on correct english translations. I hope tomorrow I will be able to provide you the correct ones.

The live Google PR addition should be awesome. I just sent payment for it today, as I've found the tool really useful and easy to use.

Is it automatic, or does someone manually e-mail the registration code? I haven't gotten it yet, but I'll patiently wait for the e-mail so I can continue with my submissions..

 

Ok I just bought a copy as well. I can't beleive it. I'm not one to buy this sort of software..ok should have the code by morning, cut down an xmas tree with my family and come home and work at traffic and PR, with Tim Hortons coffee in hand, ....well, on the desk really
