DP, Now, its no more spammers heaven I had been using DP from long time back. And I had to stop logging into it because of the spammy posts, fraudulent buyers and sellers and eventually I forgot even my log on username and password. But, again I am back to DP for its new rules and system. Waaah.. what a change over to keep spammers away!. DP.. you have now earned few member back like me. Don't worry about people quitting DP now; eventually they have to come back to DP Is it really that difficult to contribute something which gives you whatever it can? I think each and everyone should contribute something for a forum to be a successful one. Its not that few people contribute and the others just sit and watch. Again, thanks DP for involving everyone into the game. Rather we are "forced" to involve ourselves. Even I haven't contributed anything till now and just used this forum to learn and use it as a market place. But, now I wish to contribute! Changes are hard to accept. But if it's not now then when? Changing something from the usual routine will be a hard one for anyone. But,think! If these changes are not done now, then when? Do you still need DP as a spammers heaven? Do you still want to continue in DP as a "passive" reader? Changes are for good and we need to accept it. If we crib for "3 likes" now and quit DP, then i am sure we might again have to come back to DP after some month/year and there are chances that we would need "10 likes" to be an established member. So, Accept the change and get accustomed to it! DP is no more a free forum for "dumb" people. Do you prefer giving promotions for "dumb" seniors or "contributing" juniors? Put yourselves into neutral shoes and think!. Being in the forum for a longer time doesn't mean you have contributed more to it. Real contribution is what matters now and I think "DP" is right this time too. Do you guys still prefer the priority should be given for "old" and "passive" members?I just wanted to post this as I see people cribbing about the new changes to DP. But, i really love it! A good change for a good way ahead is what I personally feel.
I think the changes will help bring the community feel back, instead of being overrun by scammers and spammers. I missed that sense of community and stopped posting here for a long time. I love that something more is being done... and members having to earn some things for a change.

Like any metamorphosis there are changes. The creepy caterpillars are crawling around complaining. But who cares as DP is now attracting butterflies. I very much enjoyed your opening post.
Well I am new to forum not old but since new rules and format, I found more increase in my personal sale although I am not big earner but still thread generate good sales for me!
Yes! I personally felt it would happen because DP has proved now that it do not want spammers and scammers here and eventually it will attract genuine traders here.
You do happen to make a valid point. You are right about contributing members, old or young. That is the lifeblood of a forum. Sure the changes were a jolt. I could not get my account back for the good of me for some time. Ihad to somehow find a way to contact a mod.long story short, its fixed now. Got my old account back and had 3 likes on it near instantly. By the way, to earn your stripes for using the BST is best, because scammers and scum like that don't want to waste time, most of the time.
