    I am not sure how much it will be after a year. but after a year you can just transfer the domain to another domain provider

    The renew price is big but there is no reason to stay there after the 1 year expire.
    The link did worked for me few days ago, but what i see now that i didn't saw before is that the deal will only work for Us and Canad.

    Godaddy has another offer with $2.17 a registrar where you can keep your domains for much lesser in coming years. 1and1 has an offer for $0.99 there too renewal rate is $10 only.
