I agree on the reply of Nick_Mayhem. SEO is a learning process. The more you read articles and practice what you've learned the better you will be in this business.

Good english skills, for writing articles and submit them into directories, known people... 2 types of people:
1- good paying clients
2- very affordable workers - directories/articles submitters

Have lot's of friends to who to ask for links, known from were to buy cheap links,etc... My opinion is that a SEO Guy , is much more as a real business man (a very good negotiator) then an engineer

 

Thanks for sharing..i agree with the others that seo is a learning process..by reading lots of seo guides, seo articles, blog and the likes will definitely give you learning and important information about seo and create your own site or blog and practise what you've learn while you continue learning things about it.

 

You must learn BH without being caught, penalize, or banned by Google or SEOs, I promise you proffesional SEOs do that.

 

read books and forums for basic points later u make few sites and test yourself which tricks are working.

Read a lot of forums, read blog and separate the crap from the truth, experiment and then experience will come after some trial and error....I don't think anyone becomes an expert because things are always changing....I stopped doing SEO for about a year and a half and when I started again things have changed so much that all my prior knowledge was out the window
