What exactly did you like better about the old? If you explain what you don't like, we might be able to fix/improve it.

Even though, at first sight, I didn't like the new DP, I am getting used to the new version, though a few things are quite annoying, but just like the old DP, I will get used to

To be honest, first glance when it was launched, I was annoyed a little but after going through all my profile options, setting up other stuff in my account... browsing around the forum, looked at revised rules, I beginned to love DP once more. This type of change is good and yes, there are some bug's that maybe found but Shawn will take care of what needs to be fixed.

If people don't explain in details there issues, how is Shawn going to address these concerns? Once again, lack of details people post in a thread.

Didn't somebody recently mention something about a "grammar/spelling checker"?

Yes indeed, but even then, I don't think this tool would have helped in this case :)

True, if it was mandatory, it would have prevented the post from ever being made.

As I see English isn't your strong point, why don't you make a simple list (of what you don't like) for Shawn? For example:
    • People crying about likes in 19348456 different threads.
    • People who can't manage to read the help pages for themselves.
    • And so on.
Do you see what I mean - short sentences. It might not eliminate mistakes altogether, but will help you reduce them. Also click the ABC (with a tick) button to pick up any spelling/grammar errors.
    Good luck!

I could be wrong but I suspect that if you were to run the above post through the grammar/spellchecking tool it would smoke, catch on fire, and eventually blow up.
