meta tag is not helping seo at all, all those top search engine is ignoring the meta tag

 

But i heard that google only ignores meta keywords tag.

Hi, Google is giving importance to Meta Title Tag & you can include your keywords which best describe your business it should not exceed 69 characters & the meta description tag which says what the page is all about.

 

title tag and description tags are very important tags in seo.both title and description tags will appear in search engine results and it tells to the search engine and users what is it about the page.so description should be very convencing and attractive.
