Hi every one, today i have a question for you. I have a website and i want to optimize it. But i don't know exactly how many backlinks are ok! So can you help me? Thank so much!
more backlinks is good for your website. Especially natural backlinks with proper niche. It will build good neighborhood for your site.
There are so many important factors when talking backlinks. The number of backlinks your site has does play a role, the quality of the backlink and its content relevance is much more important though. Focus on the quality instead of quantity and you'll get the results you want.
Its depends on your site domain age. if domain is new than you should build links slowly and with only quality, relevant and authoritative site links.
The more backlinks, the better. Make sure you have a good mix coming from different sources, like article submission/directories, social media sites, and links from sites on the same niche as your site. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
Get as many as links related to your site. Add content in your site on regular basis,it will help your site in ranking high.
I guess your question is how many links for a website will look natural to search engines. A quality page (for instance a page on cnn.com) will naturally earn about 6 links a year without promotion. A link portfolio could still look natural (done properly) if it acquires 10 links (quality links) a month. It's safe to build 20 links a month considering some links will be expired, or not counted by search engines. You could build a lot of links to a site if the links are pointed to many pages, not just one page. See http://www.4th-media.com/seo/earned_links.php for deep analysis on earned links and natural links.
Hi, It is easy step to bring more natural backlinks to your sites... If your website is only a collection of affiliate links then you cannot expect that other webmasters will link to your site. Create a website with good content. People like to link to "How to" articles, top 10 lists and controversial statement. The more interesting your web pages are, the more likely it is that other websites will link to your site.
Here are 3 really good tools. Page Rank doesn't really matter any more by the way. DOMAIN AUTHORITY does. Page Rank is based off of the number of pages a site is displaying and has almost nothing to do with the number of back links another site has. Ahrefs.com OpenSiteExplorer.org SeoMoz.org Relevancy, Domain Authority, variety, and anchor text are all factors to consider. NOT "the number" of links per se. One back link from Mashable.com would FAR outweigh 1000 back links from Directories. Make sense?

oh got it! I am just trying to say that, in my business, we have had sites submitted to monetize based off of Page Rank only. These sites are 8 months old, with scraped content, maybe 20 or 30 back links, and have a PR 7, 8, or 9. Alexa is below 20 million and doesn't even rank for it's own domain name. I am saying that, when considering links / link partners / there are dozens of different metrics that are FAR MORE important than Page Rank since PR can easily be manipulated. Usually by loading 1000's of pages of well linked (internal) content..... and not really doing anything else. That's all. And people confuse all this with this simple 1-10 number and base the whole internet off of it. When Google and Bing have stated they both use over 200 signals.
