Is there any possibility Google AdWords may stop running because of over doing website SEO? I have one site where suddenly AdWords ads stopped running so even Google AdWords support is puzzled why. Granted there were a lot of SEO activities related to that site.
I just looked at the AdWords account and finally the ads started to run yesterday after 16 days not running. No explanation has been given by AdWords support. The ads stopped running on 1/16/13 at the same time when ranking of the site was dropped a couple 10-20 points across all keywords. Perhaps it was just a coincident.
Hi, There is no any such thing that SEO can affect adwords anyways. But, if your landing page do not follow adwords policies than it may be banned. When your ads was stopped, did you diagnosis it to find the reason? The simple way to find the reason is "click on speech bubble" next to keywords and it will show all the imformation you required & a reason for not showing.
@animesh > Yes, and the message was saying something about the quality of the Ads (Quality score was like 6). We called tech support and they were puzzled. It's running now and no explanation from support team.
I haven't heard of this, but I have heard of them stopping certain campaigns based on the content of the pages. They primarily look to "crack down" on people selling fraudulent services...etc. I believe you can find more extensive info on it here: http://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=190435. My current site for weekly stock options quotes, http://www.paydaystocks.com/weekly-stock-options-order-PDS-trader.html, hasn't had a problem, I have run into some other issues with different products where they didn't like the specific wording. Anyway, hope this helps!
No way Google adwords can't be stop because it is one of the good source of income for Google Inc. Google charge to clients for PPC ads.
@tonys.. What i have seen is, When I do excessive SEO (on-page) like making the Keyword density stuff the QS Drops a bit (seems like they detect it as over-stuffing) but never saw anything related to offpage stuff. I do that quite a lot on sites which are on adwords.. Maybe something crazy going on their side. Glad your ads are back.
