I've an e-commerce site which has more than 20,000 pages indexed. Yesterday, I checked internal links for my homepage and I was shocked to see more than 21,000. I don't want to get link from every single website page but there is a website logo which is on every page and that is why I'm getting so many links. Please help me how to remove links without removing my logo from pages.

I've analyze my competitors and they have only 1000 links for their homepage and ranking high while they have more indexed pages than me so that is why I'm thinking about to reduce my homepage internal links.
those thousand links are probably back links to the site. Having a lot of internal links will not hurt you.
I just want to know how much internal links should I keep? Because someone told me too many internal links can hurt my ranking. My home page isn't ranking on any keyword. Please help me regarding this.
