is 35k-40k impressions not good enough to make some money?

My website is a decent blog, started nearly a year ago. Visitor growth has been quite steady with the rising number of subscribers and articles. I got 10k impressions in august, 20k in the month of october, and and I am close to getting 40k impressions in december. (it's impressions in that month alone).

since the growth is steady enough (for my small blog), i foolishly applied for adsense in my very first month and it got disabled forever. (skewed traffic ratio). I have seen these forums and i have seen that only people getting a minimum of million impressions per month can make any money.

So, can anyone advise me what to do?, Should I put any ads now, or should I wait till I too reach a million per month mark?. (people seemed to love my ad-free blog, and i left it alone).
is 50k impressions too less a figure to get any money?

only, recently i have taken adbrite and i have made $1.50 in 30 days. i don't feel any good with them. can anyone tell me a better way to approach.? a new CPM ad network or the impressions to get until i start advertising

I'd say focus on growing up.
The traffic is really low to earn any revenue, even if you are in a high paying niche.

I got a website with about 8 posts only that's getting 40k visits per month right now. From those 40k people I am
making $1000 per month, but I'm not using AdSense, I'm using CPA.

Adbrite---> do people really make money with it ?

CPA offers are great but depends on your niche..

Your should try edomz and infolinks together.

Adsense is suitable for sites that either have low traffic or fall into a category that is not easily monetize by CPA or affiliate programs. As your site is banned by Adsense, you now have two options:

    1. Grow your site by organic and inorganic traffic, create a list, make partnerships and monetize all of that. Obviously, this will bear fruit in long run.

    2. Get another domain, divert traffic from current site to it and apply for Adsense again.

    Hope this helps.

I'm sorry, but teaching people to earn money the same way as I do would mean less money for me, so it's not an option. =(

I personally don't use CPA, since my website is a forum, and people don't really buy stuff on it.

An example of CPA would be, if you have a site that talks about laptops, you put an HP laptop CPA ad, and when people buy a laptop from HP by following your ad, you get a % of the money they spent.

So CPA works well if you have a site that people go to before they make major purchases. Like a site that reviews laptops or cell phones.

You don't get paid on clicks or impressions, you get paid based on 'actions', which usually means you get paid when they buy something or sign up for a service.

If people don't buy anything, then you may show the ad a million times and get a thousand clicks and not get any money.

Making good money depends largely on your site's traffic. Its particularly good with niche sites.
If you have the traffic for CPA, then there are tons of sites that have different CPA offers.

CPA is not a good option for most webmaster because most good CPA network do not accept easily and if you even get account its not easy to get leads done it need very good knowledge to choose right CPA offer to convert

I would suggest you choosing between PPC/CPM or CPV or a combination of PPC and CPV - for CPV I have always had good experience with edomz.com other then them you can check clicksor, infolinks

CPA is always the best way to go for low traffic , you can make handful of money from 50K if you could find a smart way to add CPA offers , you could try and make your own banner Ads with related CPA or something related to your demographics and split test it, hope this may help:)

Agreed, but you need CPA offers that targets your visitors well to be able to bead AdSense from my experience
