    You are of course right.

It is all there, but now you need to search for it rather than have it available to you at a glance!

Surely you must agree that is not an improvement to the service provided to the members?

I would like to request again that DateJoined/Registered, which is as important, if not a lot more important than the "message count" or "best answers" should be added to the member box?

I say this because that is very important to the buyers of scripts, sites and services.

Do you feel that the new DP has taken in to account the needs of the members who are buyers as opposed to the sellers?

I am not sure if during the creation of the new and improved DP, you had asked for the opinions of, or suggestions from, the active DP members, because neither I nor any of my clients, many of whom are long established members of DP, were ever approached for their opinion/suggestion on any of the changes whatsoever!

Actually, I don't. If I wanted to know the date someone registered, I would click on their avatar and look. {shrug} I mean you don't even have to go to a different page to see it, and since I would rarely care about someone's registration date, it's definitely not something I want to see on every post.

Like I said previously, what is important to *you* might not be important to other people. I'm sure some users think it's of the upmost importance to be able to see the user's birthdate or gender without being bothered to click their mouse once... but also not going to add that to each and every post.

Noted, and denied again. I honestly fail to see how somehow the date someone happened to hear about Digital Point and register on is more important than something like "Best Answers", which actually gives a hint to the quality and intelligence of the user. Someone who registered on the forum in 2004, but never did anything interesting or useful the whole time doesn't make them a reliable/good user/buyer/seller.

And for those that it's important to, they can see it with a single action. Although to be honest, I've never heard of anyone who cared even remotely about the day someone signed up. People are more interesting in what the user has DONE since they have been a member, not how long they have been a member.

Yes of course we got input. lol

Maybe you should talk to this guy and you guys can come up with something good. You want more clutter, he wants less clutter. Let me know what you guys come up with as far as good ideas. :)
