Can we enhance the performance of our website without relying on Goolgle or SEO for that matter? I think it should be possible by more than one way. The use of social media and forums to perfection can still enhance the website traffic by a great deal. Similarly the use of related blogs can also improve the traffic to our website. Any other methods by which SEO can be avoided? Or is it impossible to avoid SEO?
It's impossible to stay on the top while trying to avoid SEO, so it's a must have but to get some traffic the method you said can be used.
SEO is not mandatory all the times . if we have good quality content , which can be published through PR website . it produces more traffic
SEO can be totally avoided if you so chose, but why would you want to do that? There's nothing like getting FREE Organic Search Traffic from Google and other SEs for that matter. Holla!~
Actually it depends on your website. If your webiste name is very popular like facebook, digital point etc. you dont need to worry about seo but the web design and services. However, If your website is like a blog who keep update with some information or content, you can't ignore seo otherwise search engine will ignore your blog.
You can chose not to SEO your website for all these search engine's care. but like GuruCreation said it sure better to optimize abit and then concentrate on contents.
If your website, product, or service is particularly sensitive to viral marketing, you have a chance. Otherwise, SEO cannot be ignored if you wish to remain at or near the top of the search engine rankings for your chosen search terms - in any mid to competitive niche. Let us not forget, however, that no website should rely soley on Google (or any other search engine) for all your traffic. There are so many more ways to drive traffic to your site in addition to organic search, and these should be utilized. Never place all your eggs in one basket so to speak- remember Google owes you nothing. WebDev
There are sites that get lots of traffic just by constantly cranking out new content. The idea is to target lots of low competition keywords and to make sure that you link relevant pages together.
I agree with this, I've ran heaps of sites and done plenty of SEO in the past. However, my newest site I haven't done one back link for and after only 2 weeks I'm getting a fair amount of Organic Clicks per day, all due to the unique content It has. People need to start realising that SEO is be becoming less needed now that Google is getting so clever.
This CAN be the case- but how did you originally get people reading that content? You must have done some form of promotion (not saying SEO, but SOME kind of advertising) - otherwise Google would never have found your site, nor would any real visitors. SEO is not a mandatory part of making a successful website work, but you certainly need to have a contingency plan in place if you choose to ignore it. WebDev
