I recently heard that there is no value for meta keywords in Google search ranking?, of course some search engines do. Is there any value for meta keywords in Search Engine Optimisation?
Meta keywords are mostly disregarded by most major search engines and can be deleted from your <head> section.
Google seems to ignore the meta keywords. There is a possibility that one or more of the other search engines might still use them, but that is hard to prove. Since it takes less than a minute to add meta keywords, I usually do ... just in case.
They pretty much play zero ranking factor these days, but it's still worthwhile completing them. If nothing else, it gives the search spiders another method of identifying your sites niche- the ranking algorithm is comprised of hundreds of different factors and none of them should be ignored. Since the search engines use a wide variety of factors to determine site rankings, optimizing a page to rank high is a cumulative effort. You should use everything available to you that the engines might give some weight, and therefore you should certainly use meta tags (including the meta keyword tag), along with every other legitimate, acceptable technique available. At best, it may help boost your site a bit in those engines that still read them. At worst, it won't hurt your rankings (unless you brazenly keyword stuff them). I still use these meta tags on clients' Web sites, but don't bother with them on my own sites. If i can be of further help http://seoplannow.com/?s=meta keywords
My point of view meta keyword is no any very right now. but you must use title, meta description. it is most valuable in onpage.
