Link Building And Target Keywords?

I am new in SEO and wanted to know that when we submit URL in directories then we need to fill the fields for title and keywords. What strategy SEO follows if we have too many keywords also need more details from experts. Thank you

 

You have to put your keywords on different pages of your website and after that you can do directory submission for each page and keyword.

 

Your keywords should be related to your page and it should be in your page content. But, make sure that keyword density will not be more than 4%.

 

Vary anchor text while you write content for your website, use different keywords while directory submission, social bookmarking.

 

If your page is targeting many keywords, choose the most relevant keyword with lower competition and with good no of searches (use : https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeting/Explorer?__c=1000000000&__u=1000000000&ideaRequestType=KEYWORD_IDEAS) . Submit to various good directories with those selected keywords. In case of "title" you can put what is mention in the "meta title" of that page.

Directory links aren't very valuable nowadays, in Google's eyes. Better to share your stuff on social media and let it naturally gain links.

 

You mean to say nowadays google gives less preference to directory submission ?

Good, in first create more blogs/pages with top search keywords, minimum 50 post/page. you should highlight the keyword on every post. Best split the blog/content with three or four paragraphs, each paragraph should have one keyword and bold your keyword. add images which is relevant to your post and give same post name as a image name.
Create sitemap and use google webmaster tools to index your pages immediately.
then you submit your blog/site to social bookmark directory / article directory.
