Do You Like New Digital Point?

This new appearance is cool. I am getting hard time to get used to the new appearance. May be they has just upgrade to Xenforo forum software.

I like the new version and best thing is auto alerts, now you can get instant alert message on new comments.

 

The new DP has the a more futuristic look where as the old one look more old school.

 

Its always good to have changes, so I welcome very gracefully all the changes and the change here on this forum is worth welcoming. I like its look and what I really liked is that this forum still sticks to its former color i,e green maintaining its identity.

 

It looks great but the new minimum 3 "Like" requirement for posting on BST forum is worst part

 

The old site needed a revamp but this is not very good.
It needs to be kept much simpler.
Lack of clear communication from the owners SUCKS - where has this "3 likes" rule suddenly come from?

This forum is by far the best forum by looks, rules and content and i am in love with it.
I visit this forum 10 times a day and i just feel like coming back again and again because it is much more smooth to surf pages and have no other words now...

 

I cant seem to find my way yet . Change scares me . Am the type of person that panicks everytime there is a change with my system. But i know change is inevitable. It will take me some time though to adapt but i can surely adapt. And once i do , am happy again. But its great , its a new and a new year!

 

As a web developer i am well aware of how difficult it is to get convince seasoned users that new changes are for the better.. Personally i really like the new layout, the whole thing feels much slicker, without feeling completely different

I really like the new look. It is much cleaner looking. The only thing I miss so far is the link today's posts. Am I just not seeing it or is it gone?

 

Takes some getting used to, just wondered about this though:

 

A poll would've been nice. As someone told before, the smilies are just horrible they look like handicapped outer space freaks full of dope.
Multi quote was a very useful option. And the white screen could maybe adjusted to a more eye friendly white tone.
But at all, I think it's a better feeling to browse the site and I absolutely love the alert system. In my opinion it is one of the most lovely and useful feature of this forum software.

 

I hate the new conversation system (pm), old one was better, because i have to check and open every conversation to see if i wont pm the offer to the same guy again, i am losing precious time.

 

Definitely a step in a better direction. I like Xen very much, I may actually be able to use DP now. Used to get a headache on here rather quickly before.

 

I love the new Digital Point. It's a huge improvement from the last DP (was still good, but the new design does this site well) and I think it's a change for the better rather then the worse. The forum looks great in my opinion. I'll be hanging around here for a while .

Yeah, I noticed ever since the switch I'm on DP 10x more than I usually am. I barely used to post while we were on vB. You can even look at the dates of my posts while on vB and you'd see I didn't post much before...

 

I think the new DP is great!!
My only issue is there is no way to delete multiple messages and all my messages I had saved in folders have now been lost.
Does anyone have any idea how to get them back??
