Help With International Wire Transfers

Hi,
My Name is Rahul and I need some help and info regarding International Wire transfer. I am from India and I have SBI (State Bank of India) account under the Maniktala Civic Center Branch. The problem is my branch does not have a specific swift code. So which swift code should I use in order to receive money. What else is required for a money transfer from USA. Can someone help me?

Finally, how long does it take for the money to show up in my bank account.

You can use any swift code used by SBI. And at the end, you will get your money.

Yes, and it takes around 2 days for private banks like HDFC. So, even with SBI it should not take more than 5 days.

Since you have account with State Bank of India, try International Funds Transfer direct from your OnlineSBI account

 

just use any swift code from your bank.. the money will go to you dont worry lol

 

I have similar problem... Pls help me.. could i use Chennai Indian bank swift code since i cant find any swift code for my vellore Indian bank branch.. i have to use that in my admob account.. is it possible??Will i get money ??

Why dont you ask your bank, and explain them that you need the details so you can transfer funds to your account from abroad?... Thats where i would start. Or you can always open a new bank account and later transfer funds localy.

 

It all depend on the terms of service of your bank,you should consider talking to their customer support for clarification.
