Hello guys, I'm new here. You see, I'm currently developing an online reading manga website and need your advice on how to monetize it and which/who is the best ad network out there for this kind of site. Please check it out at http://damoolag.com

    Thanks in advance ^_^

I have a marketing technique that works for all sites. I am currently marketing for websites that pertain to everything from lamp shades, to Pokemon, to school supplies. I will send you a PM once I finish this post.

Most of the good advert networks require you to have a certain amount of traffic. Besides most of them are overwhelmed by applications for manga / anime so they don't accept them in anymore, they did 1-2 years ago though.

I got kicked off Adsense with Mangamofo.com - currently using CPM star but lately the click returns are shitful. Looking for other Ad or affiliate revenues, if ya come across any let me know !

    Thanks.

Too bad AdSense has kicked you out, mate. Try Epom Market, best option for you, 'cause I assume you have pretty much Asian traffic. If they won't accept you (but I really doubt that), check Neverblue. Anyway, these two have really cool rates for specific traffic. Hope I help.

    I double that ^
Epom's really great for asian traffic (speaking about niche, asian traffic + filesharing site gives you some serious revenue). plus all ads are branded, no cheap sh*t like DOWNLOAD NOW!!! or smth.

Thanks for that guys, I will check out Epom and Neverblue, I get mainly traffic from the States I guess because the site is in English, but can't hurt to try them out :)

Adsense will reject you if they see lots of copyrighted content on your site. Your competitors probably already had Adsense code, and just used that code on the site. You can buy an Adsense account and be done with the whole fiasco.

For monetization, yes AdSense, and then content locking via CPC will yield best results for you.

Not sure what you mean by my competitors already had adsense code?
I bought the site last November and it was doing well with adsense until the google email citing copyrighted images on the site.
There is a scraper engine that scrapes images from another site automatically, so I have no control over that.
So what do you mean i can buy an adsense account?

    Well when you wrote
I assumed that you were trying to apply for an AdSense account? So if this is not the case then did you have Adsense and it was banned due to copyright infringement? In that case you probably did not have the correct disclaimers on your site as to the copyright status of your content, and perhaps your competitors do.

In either case, you can always buy an Adsense account. Just googe "buy AdSense Account" :) Easy as that mate.

Oh, just noticed you weren't even the OP.... never mind. All info still relevant to the discussion at large.

    Cheers.

Or you can make up a bullshit blogger blog, get Adsense approved for it, then use it on your Manga website as well. Dunno if Google is smart enough to catch on or not, but I've done it with AdBrite and they don't pick up on it.

It is only a moronic excuse to say it is the scrapers fault, yes, the scraper did
its job, but in the end, you are responsible for what you scrape and display on your site.

I doubt there is no such thing as "buying an adsense account"
and if there was, then it probably would not take long to flag fraud accounts.
You would need a new idenity, name, SS, etc, down the road, they will
most likely catch up to fake/fraud adsense accounts, and you loose it all again....

Well, I assumed I had no control over the scraper as it came like that with the site, not trying to make excuses.
Yep, buying an adsense account is a definite no-no staying well clear of that one.
