Hey guys, does anyone know a place to get free, royalty free images? I don't need anything specific, but any help would be appreciated.

Most of those free site have dried up. Most everyone charges these days. You can go to bigstockphotos.com or istockphotos.com for reasonable priced images.

I personally use public domain images online. Free to use personally or commercially. There are a lot of those websites, just Google them.

If you want to get simple images, you can try the royalty free images. You can google it.

If you want to use nice images for personal use, you can contact the owner of the images and tell them you want to use their photos in your website, blog..etc, just ask for permission.

But if you are looking into commercial purposes, then you might want to consider looking into inexpensive stock photos.

I like to use Creative Commons on Flickr. There are 6 different licenses under Creative Commons. I choose the Attribution section because you can do what ever you want with the photos as long as you give credit.

A long term solution is to take photos yourself overtime. Then you never have to worry about copyrights, etc... not to mention you will be able to say its all your work. It doesn't hurt thats for sure.
