@digitalpoint Thanks for fixing .info This was the URL, but i found the winner. He just posted a message on the thread. In the old version, it was showing the winner on sale thread, is it changed now? https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...ty-da-23-pa-35-pr4-backlink-from-bbc.2628089/
How did you get the likes? Can anyone give me some tips about how to get likes? I can't use the marketplace :/
Lots of posts and due to the new format, reading all of them is going to hurt my eyes more than they already hurt, so a few comments, some of which may be duplicated. (Take the duplicates as an additional vote.) 1. Serif fonts are for print media. For screen media, please use a sans serif font. 2. When replying with a long quote, the editor blows up constantly. I usually copy [/quote] and paste where needed. The editor clears the clipboard randomly. It repositions the cursor randomly. (Other Options clears the problem up - the editors are working differently.) 3. No way to edit the raw HTML. Sometimes I paste in a URL I've copied from a bookmark, but I want to change the text. It's iffy editing the formatted display. (The first icon in the old editor was a switch.) 4. Could we have the old "View last read post" or whatever it was called, at the top? If you follow a thread for a long time, you end up having to manually trying to find where you were last time. 5. An option in the control panel to eliminate the delay after posting, before displaying the post? (I'm assuming that this is the same as most forums, a 5 second or so delay that's just a delay, not something running slow.) When you post a few dozen responses a day, that kills a lot of time. 6. Please, please, please don't use fixed width. Aside from the fact that it's so 90s, those of us who are no longer young need to expand the page so we don't have to squint, and that puts the right side off the screen.
Yes, it's not showing it. I just checked on Chrome and Firefox, also using proxies in case it was my connection. The winner's username is not there. The bids div is empty, i think it should have loaded the winner there? <div class="currentBids"></div> Thanks for taking your time.
The new like system is to enforce only and only that we buy premium membership. And the highlighted reason to buy it is - ability to impress chicks Seriously ??

Yeah, it will probably change soon. 2. Yeah... I do not like the editor what-so-ever. 3. Kind of back to #2, but realistically, you probably will never get an HTML editor here. 4. It's there... "Go To First Unread" in the pagination. 5. What delay after posting? There is no artificial delay that I'm aware of. 6. Maybe... If that were the case, there would be no way to become Established without premium membership. In fact, becoming an established member is so simple, it serves no purpose other than to weed out people who have literally nothing useful to post (and we don't want those users).
If the container size is increased a bit and postbit font size is reduced a bit then this will be perfect dp Just my viewpoint, i am using the site by increasing my screen resolution
As i was browsing the forum, i have seen tons of really useful posts with no likes, but several useless posts with likes.
This whole 'like' thing to access the market place is a good idea to get rid of the trashy posts... But it's going to drive away a lot of newcomers that probably buy/sell the most (or atleast a significant amount). The way I see it, your have to be a premium member to give 'likes'?! Money really is the root to all problems. Damn.
yah, u are right, i only did go to the marketplace section only, would check over the forum from now and yeah, nice job with the design
The change is good. will take some time to adjust to the colors and stuff I still prefer the old colors over this, but I like the change. Shawn FTW!
The colors, fonts and general styling are not set in stone (far from it). It took years of tweaking to get the previous style, and the same will happen here.
