I see this option in the settings and I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with it? One of my main concerns is early on I chose a custom url for my personal page and this was long before fanpages came about. Later I issued my fanpage a custom url but couldn't chose the ideal custom url cause it was tied to my personal. I was thinking to rename my personal but what if my idea url is lost or is it not? Can I instantly reclaim it for my fanpage? I really don't want to lose my personal page but I need my url from the personal to be for my business fanpage. Any insight would be appreciated. I guess this was a multi part question...
You don't have an answer and you are wondering why I want to do this??? Did you not read my post that clearly states why I want to do this?
Yeah I under stand what your talking about with the URLs of your pages. I guess what is throwing me for a loop is merging the pages? Like making your personal and page the same? I no I'm lost but I guess I'm clueless. Lol
No, facebook will not allow you to "merge" pages. I think also once you establish a url link, then you can no longer use that URL link for any other page, even if you deleted your page that has that url.
