My suggestion is do not always depends upon the tools, you can use tool for quick glance of onpage issues.

You can check some of the onpage issues in "woorank" and other similars like "seobook, internet marketing ninjas, open site explorer, SEMRUSH".
You cannot check all issues in one tool, you may need to refer more than one.

you should do them manually... Depending on tools will never give you an accurate result!

Manually is always the better option - but of course the cost is in time. A great tool to consider would be Market Samurai - but it isn't cheap and still requires some time to interpret the results and make the relevant decisions.

Although this is a pretty generic question, I think what you're trying to say is, "How do I ensure that I'm getting the most out of my SEO efforts within my website?" If this is the case, my experience in the SEO field has show that there are 3 major areas to target. After that, the different areas get more and more minimal. The 3 areas are:

    -Page titles
    -META descriptions
-Internal linking with descriptive anchor text

The last is probably the most overlooked area in all of SEO. Internal linking not only gives you control of the placement and anchor text of your links, but also ensures a more thorough indexing by the search engines.

So basically, create descriptive, unique page titles and META descriptions for each page, then link between the individual pages from within your text using highly descriptive terms. This has helped me succeed in the past :)

I think, by a tool, you can't do Onpage optimization to your site. It can be done by experience and by study of SEO guide.
There are many Onpage SEO guide on internet where you can get the proper idea of onpage as well as offpage SEO.
And now a day, major Search Engine site, Google has good algorithm to catch or understand the keyword of a particular site. It can easily catch the keywords from offpage link and from the content of the site.
Now, Generally Title, Meta description, content optimization is getting preference on Onpage optimization.

    Thanks

There are tools out there that can help you in doing on page checking. But of course, doing it manually will ensure everything for you. There are common on page like meta tags, alt, internal linking, website structure etc.

However, there are still some good on page optimization that have been forgotten by many of us such as, rich snippet viewing where you can see how your description look like in SERPs, and many more. You might want to look this out.

I personally stick to WebSite Auditor for doing on-page analysis, and this saved me a lot of time. I used this tool to detect a bunch of structural issues my site had, and then the same tool helped me to optimize titles, meta tags and make my content more keyword rich. Also, there are reports on the whole website and on-page optimization, really informative ones

    1. Title tag - must contain your keyword. Not more than 70 characters. Not more than 5 words.
    2. Meta Description - has more an marketing role than SEO. Not more than 160 characters. Make it more attractive and with call to action sentences. This will not increase your SEO - so no need to put your keyword in.
    3. Use keyword in an image (keyword is the alt tag of the image)
    4. Use keyword in text body (do not bold). Use it in H1 tag, H2 and H3.
    5. Use long tail keywords in your content.

    6. Ad an social sharing option. AddThis plugin is way to go.

and the Golden Rule - do not over optimize your pages. Make the content look nice and clean. Make it easy to read for users.

I would advice you not to stick with tools always, because tools wont give you good results , While you do it manuaaly you can get high quality backlinks and hence good results.

Yes, you are right Sabrina, i had a complete list for om-page-SEO, it is somewhere i can search.
Software cannot be that trustworthy. Since on-page is done 1 time and highly recommended its done carefully.
