Website Submitter - new directory submitter software

Its a good software, but its too slow. I've other similar kind of software (but not with so many links), but they work very fast.

One of thing that you can take on is when the user is submitting the page, next 5 sites are getting loaded, so that it saves lots of time.

Hi owner of Allsubmitter. Is no need to register with clones I can easy recognize the writing style. The application does not load in many windows as your software but has many other qualities including easy usage, daily updates, a correct and well updated db and many more. Really man no harm if you are telling who you are.

I still see many "free links" on the list once clicked through that they either want a recip or pay or they even offer a no follow tag option or you pay. The majority are free.

Is there a better way to clean up this list!

 

We have 20 links reported until now. If you find one link that is not in the right category you can click on report button in the interface. The bad thing with the directories is that they cahange fast from free to reciprocal.

We will have for example in today update 20 changes in status and categories.

 

I just wanted to say that the latest updates are great!

The software is very convenient. I simply open it up with one of the profiles and set it up on 1 screen while I am doing other things - In a typical day, between other things, I can easily do around 100 submissions.

1 question - is there a way to remove a profile?

 

Thank you for your kind words. Indeed in version 1.3 we have added incredible new functionalities. We are now working on some great new features for the 1.3.1 . Regarding your question "Is there a way to remove a profile?", bow you can do it from explorer by removing the file from c:/program files/Submit Suite/Website Submitter/profiles". We plan also a quickchange of the profile from the application and also maybe a management option.

I have to admit that this is a pretty good looking tool. Thanks for listing it here. Pre-filling the info is a very good idea. The other probs folx see don't really see em on my end.

 

mmariusel, wow, good to know that you know about AllSbmitter too, frankly to say I am using Allsubmitter now and I don't know previous person in this thread was owner of AS. But multiple windows and ability to add own dirs - really helps as well as various operation with directories database. If you'll have someday all this + reports in form I just e-mail your support I will say goodbye! to AllSubmitter and his owners!

 

Reports are existing already, take a look at the screenshot I have attached. You have the option to:

- print a report to a printer (also option to page setup and preview it)
- save a report in a HTML format ( w3c validated )
- save a report in PDF format direct from application

The own directory options is already implemented in 1.3.1 but will be release only in 03 December update ( also in 1.3.1 will exist some new options and plus more regional categories ).

Multiple windows is an idea but now is the first time suggested. I am making a small research to see how I can do it better.

Actually I spoked with guys from AllSubmitter on our local russian SEO forum, but somewhow they don't get me or can't implement that report function.

P.S. you also stated that you don't allow software to choose categories automatically, that's ok, but at least make it so if person state this in profile (I mean list of categories and if software find them 100% same as in directory it will choose it, so less work for submitter).

P.P.S. Not sure but I bet AllSubmitter was written on Delphi 7

 

Anyway I keep eye on you and your software you seems will be one who brings some real compete to that market.

 

In version 1.3 ( the one that you can download it now from the Website Submitter website) the choosing of category automatic works perfect. The application allows you even to choose a predefined category or to write one, see the attachement.

I think that his software is pretty slick. I love the paste options function. I was in the midst of submitting to directories when I came acrosss this thread. Way to go. Nice work!

 

Great software the more I work with it. I like the implementation of the PR bar in the upper right hand corner. What I was hoping to see instead was a live PR of the page that the link will reside on or the category that we usually have to click through to to add a link. The PR is usually different on the internal pages.

I did not forgot your suggestion, I did not put it in 1.3 because the time to test it was not enough. The good think is that will come in 1.3.1 ( release date 3 December ).

 

What would be the ultimate in marketing this software is a flash or visual tutorial on how easy it is to use.
