Anyone know what the deal with the tattoo niche is? Why doesn't anything convert?
Does any body have any insight as to why this might be?
People with sites in the tattoo niche, I would love to hear your thoughts on this

I have seen a few tattoo facebook pages that seem to draw quite a bit of interest. Seems like a solid niche. Not sure why you aren't converting like you hope. Perhaps narrowing the niche down to "women" or "men" tattoos or narrowing it down in some way to help your conversions go up.

Are you trying to sell particular products on the site or are you trying to make money from Adsense?

And you didn't know the Adsense CPC would be low before you created the site? That should have been your first clue it was not going to be a big converter.

I would steer away from Clickbank and start trying to find products people with Tattoos want. Are there any creams that help with post tattoo sensitivity? Do you offer books about tattoos from Amazon? Are you promoting any "alternative lifestyle" dating sites that highlight tattooed members? Have you tried promoting any sexy content sites of a tattooed model as an affiliate?

I'd almost bet the Clickbank product you are promoting is about tattoo removal...not a topic the average tattoo searcher is most interested in.

Do a quick search on Amazon for fiction that contains the word Tattoo in the title. If it has a "Shades of Gray" feel to it, try promoting it.

There...Now you have a few more things to test...

Are you marketing your niche the right way?

Is your website attractive to your visitors?

What about the content in your site, It is interesting to your visitors or target audience?

You need to take into consideration all these questions?

    All the best.

    Have you done market research?

Are there people buying stuff related to tattoos?
Are there competitors buying ads on PPC (indication they're making money)
How many yahoo groups exist about tattoo?

Join forums about tattoo, try to find out if they buy online stuff...

Maybe they don't buy online stuff, after all you can't put a tattoo on your hand on the computer :)
