No, you don't, but I would recommend using separate accounts for each language.

Ok thank you. But how can I make sure my tweets are visible in foreign countries? Say I am based in the UK, tweeting in Polish about English football using hash tags like Club names, which are exactly the same in both languages. I noticed I can hardly ever find tweets in any other language than English. Even more, when I login from another account I can’t even find my own tweets??? Is this because of my UK IP address that I can’t see many tweets in Polish? Or am i simply doing it wrong?

Your tweets are always visible to everyone.

If you use the search function to find your tweets, you might not see them because they aren't popular (retweeted) enough. If you choose to see all tweets (without hiding the not so popular ones), it is possible that your tweets just get lost in the stream of other tweets.

Well said, it's what the Pope did...they have a different account for each major language....they even have one for Latin too.
