I have experienced clicking on numerous hyperlinks within the forums of the niche that you target with your blog (hopefully you have a niche that you target!). It seems that this is a great way for individuals to help each other while driving traffic to a website that is obscure. I never really knew how many people visit forums in general. Just look at DP. THOUSANDS of threads.
Hey Varghese..Nice start on the blog. Since you're in "brainstorming" category for ideas and entrepreneurs keep that in mind with everything you do. My suggestion would be to continue making relevant content rich posts first and foremost. As always the goal is to have quality backlinks pointing to your site to show the search engines others value what you have to say. These days social media adds a great value to blogs so personally for sites I have I set up a facebook fanpage titled the same as my website as well as a Youtube channel titled the same as my blog. I create between 20-40 videos of me basically reading my articles I post and title them the same as my post. Then backlink from those videos to each correlating post and viceversa from my blog post to my youtube channel. Make sure to add links back to your facebook fanpage on your site posts/sidebar and encourage visitors to like you. This would be a great start for you in your niche so people can continue to come back to your website (you don't want to lose them!). There are many methods/strategies but for me personally this is something I like to do when I first start up my wordpress sites. Good luck.
