apple-touch-icon-precomposed.png In all the sites I host, I found searches for these types of files. Sometimes the name of apple icon file is changed. But they are quite frequent. I assume it is some script the kiddies run, but why? What are they looking for? Do trojans install this so it is a marker? Thanks.
It's Webpage Icon for Web Clip: http://developer.apple.com/library/...bApplications/ConfiguringWebApplications.html There are certain files for specific device or application special support, like crawlers look for robots.txt or sitemap.xml or older browsers for favicon.ico in site root. Just ignore these unless you want to develop this kind of support.
