    The forum looks nice. I like the colors, however I dislike the height of the header. It might affect a couple of visitors from reading the real content of threads due to scrolling.
    1,000 posts is a lot. Heck, I don't have half the number of your required posts at Digital Point. You might want to mention some of those goodies to persuade more people to make the attempt although it will take 'em a while since the forum only has 50 posts.
