Can anybody provide me some information about how the amazon affiliate program pays Indian users. Does they pay via paypal or check or any other way. Any kind of information in this regard will be helpful

As you have said that they will pay via US dollar check. So did those checks can be cashed out in my local bank having savings account? Or, do i need a NRI account for that?

You can deposit foreign currency checks in your local Bank's Savings A/C. Unlike local checks it takes 2-3 weeks for non-INR check clearance. Some Banks may have faster clearing time.

You might also be hit with a big fee for depositing a foreign currency cheque. I use a Citibank dollar account which is a lot cheaper (I am in the UK).
