A ratio showing how often people who see your AD end up clicking it. CTR can be used to gauge how will your keywords & ADs are performing.

CTR term used in PPC. CTR refers to Click Through Ratio. Example: if your ads are shown 100 times and 2 persons have clicked on them during this then your CTR would be 2% or 2/100.

It's the click-through rate. It's calculated by dividing clicks/impressions and multiplying by 100.

I managed my former employers ads to 5%, however I received a lot of phone calls from some PPC Specialists saying that they can make it 8% or money back. Anyone tried those guys?

CTR means Click Through Rate. It is usually used to measure the success of an ad campaign. The higher the CTR is, the better. But these days, you're lucky if you get about 3-5% CTR.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

***CTR is click through rate::: For standard content ads, the number of times a user clicked on an ad. For link units, the number of clicks received by ads on a page resulting from a link click.

Short for click-through rate, the ratio of the number of times a user clicks on an online advertisement per number of viewers who view the Web site that has the advertisement on it. For example, if one out of 100 people who visit a specific Web site click on an advertisement and are taken to the advertiser's site, then the CTR of that advertisement is 1/100, or 1%.

A CTR of more than 2 % is considered to be a good value. It indirectly means that your ad are in top positions at some point of day.

CTR full form is Click Through Rate
Its measured for the number of click for that particular keyword.
Mostly you can see CTR in Google Adword.
Ex: if a keyword "seo" and another keyword is "seo services"
    seo ctr is 5% and
    seo services ctr is 50%
which means the Click through rate is high for "seo services".
So u must focus more on "seo services" keyword more as more clicks are generated.
CTR gives you a good idea about keywords which are most clicked :)
You can find this with PPC Google Adwords!
