Yes, this part was BS. And also the part that he doesn't know that such a small part of site (full stop) can be a link.

And he called this BACKDOOR. Big HAHA. :D

Wow, I pity any idiot who is moronic enough to buy this eBook just because they're told the writer is having sex with sluts in clubs. Since when was this even an accomplishment?

He can change his name from Rich Jerk to Rich Joker(He can still use RJ for himself).

He has taken marketing ethics and standards to new lows. People often talk about DMCA at DP, is there any way that he can be sued for lying to sell his products ? There has to be some organization which deals with such fraudsters.

If I was going to buy his book I would buy it through one of my affiliate links.

DMCA is for copyright infringement, not false advertisement.

DMCA(Digital Millenium Copyright Act) is for copyright infringement, not false advertisement.

In the US, the FCC handles internet fraud - www.fcc.gov. You can submit a claim online.

I wish I could hear from those who bought it.
They will never admit that they got ripped-off. I find it hard to believe that no one bought the book.

I guess that all those e-books really do is list some common knowledge stuff.
And by the time you realize it's too late.

Still, I would be curious to read what his ebook has to offer.

anybody? Care to quote a section of his 'book'.

Well, you can base Marketing theories on crappy ebooks thrown together or you can base it on Real Business Models that are in Business because they believe in their Products. The Rich Jerk does not... it's why he's made a mockery of himself and his book with an Actor to portray his "alter ego" on some level, fake stories, pure lies, etc. he had no other choice because his product was based on 10,000 other books out there.

His entire Business Model is based on looking like an idiot... hoping to grab the attention of a reader. Similar to a hot air gorilla on the top of a Kia Dealership... or a clown with a sign in front of a new Ice Cream parlor sitting directly across from a 31 Flavors parlor.

So, if this is success to you... I'd hate to hear of anymore products you bring to the table. You sound like one of those Electronic Sales people selling "the most awesome woofers money can buy for only $99.99" out of the back of a van, strolling through a Grocery Store parking lot.

It's not like some "new challenge blog" that's based on another, in hopes that someone will make a quick few bucks. That's not marketing to me...

But it sounds like you truly believe people are stupid enough to buy crap... and that's your Business Model...you said it right up there. I hope others realize that ;)

Umm, you silly monkey. Business success is based on how much money you make. This isn't a change the world forum or a make people happy forum. There are very few businesses that would rather make $1 by your standards than $5,000,000 selling ebooks of rehashed info. It's real cute of you to have that picture in your head but that is not life. So yes if you are looking for a defenition when I say "success" I am using the same one the huge majority of people here are using... based on income.

So tell me, what makes you think every other ebook on the market isn't the same damn thing? You do realize that when you're selling information the odds of you having a unique product are close to nill eh?

    Cheers.

You'd be surprised at how many people out there would throw their money at just about anything -- regardless of how dumb it might be.

On top of that, you have to give the guy some credit -- he created such a controversial guide that people talk about it all the time. Negative publicity is still publicity, and he'll make a fortune from it if you talk about it enough.

    In the UK www.asa.org.uk

In the US, probably complain to www.iab.net and www.ftc.gov

Not sure how much good any of this would do though!

I'm sure he's making sales even if his product is horrible. Look at all the publicity he's getting? I'm sure 90% of what he says is probably made up, but negative publicity can still work for some.
