    * I opened this thread on "Area 51" already but I think I must open it here to get any attention from the admins and hopefully resolve it.

What's up with this forum ?!

I got scammed by someone who got my payment and immediately disappeared.
This fraud member refuse to refund my payment and also gave me a negative iTrader.

So I'm asking, what's up with this forum ?! how can it goes any lower than that ?! where are the admins to put things in order ?!
The scamming rate in this forum is constantly rising and there is no supervision.

So bottom line, I have negative iTrader, no money, no utility and most of all I feel bad !

The main problem is that users refuse to protect themselves when there is nothing preventing them from doing so. We've *always* recommended users use an escrow service like escrow.com.

Unfortunately there isn't a lot we can do to protect users who have no interest in even protecting themselves.

Thanks for the infraction point for the double post ;)

    Escrow.com for 25$ ?!
I don't think its reasonable to ask that.
Can you at least do something against Jerlene.net which refuses to refund my payment ? and to delete his false iTrader ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Tom

Like I said I've been scammed once. It's not difficult to remember who the scammer was. It happened years ago. You sold me a free website template I requested a paypal refund and never saw the money.

But somehow you feel it's reasonable to expect us to protect you when you were unwilling to protect yourself because it's "only" $25?

Sure, we'll ask the user for his PayPal login and password so we can go into his account and issue you a refund.
