The content on your site is very good -- interesting, well-written and suited for a beginner (which I assume is your intended audience). Although you didn't ask, I would recommend creating a new home page that explains what Guitar Railway is (rather than the home page explaining the history and popularity of the guitar). In terms of the design, you should choose a unified color scheme. Currently, you have muted, monochromatic colors used for the background, the headings and the font color, but the Guitar Railway logo is much brighter while the image used in the header has warm and dramatic colors. I like the image you've chosen -- if you want to go with that image, I would choose colors complementary to that image (e.g., black font, white content background, gold/metallic treatment for the Guitar Railway logo, and a rich brown for the site background). Kuler.adobe.com is really helpful in identifying colors that work together.Other suggestions: move the search box out of the header to the navigation bar or the body; reformat the About page to the same line spacing and font as the other pages; delete the buttons and just keep the navigation headings and center align them; reorganize the links page to make clear what it is.Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot. But I don't know what I should add to the new home page that you were referring about. How should I explain my website? And should I change your design of the home page? I'll like to have more of your recommendations!

    Thank you! :)

Sorry but I didn't get your meaning there. What does the " it " refer to?

I think most guitar newbies would want to hear how you play guitar and maybe videos on how to play good and etc. I'm a guitar player myself and i learn well just by watching somekne play since i can just watch which chords are used.
