IF you close the paypal dispute, YOU ARE SCREWED. Since, that will mean you "settled" the issue. Even your CC/paypal will not be able to do anything.

Don't even accept a partial refund. That will be treated as a settlement of the dispute & the case will be closed.

If he says, he wasn't to issue a partial refund, ask him to refund you completely first and you will pay him again if he resolves the issues.

AGAIN: DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNTIL YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK!

 

Also, I forgot to include the software piracy laws you broke.

vnjporg: You can forward his information to phpfox & vbulletin and they can file a federal case against him for software piracy.

Shujinkko: you have NO idea how big this whole thing can get and strangle you.

Also, don't you think your REAL information can be obtained from you ISP logs since you used the messenger before.

second of all i can confirm you that a different i.p installed the phpfox software, since your not even part of it, you have no need to know.

I am sure that this guy does not own treasuretrooper.com the owner of that site is making far too much money to be pulling off small scams like this. Unless that is a typo for it and you put it wrong here.

Here is the update information.

Shujinkko contact me via PM and told me the following thing:

-He had spent the scammed money for templatemonster and customcms.net

Here is what he bought:

-He has $143 in his paypal account.

-Instead of paying back me the money he wanted me to get the templates and the site said a bove

-I do not need those things said above and asked him send me $143 first but he did not want and told me a lie by giving me the following thing:

I ask him where is the proof that he can not refund and he ignored my question!

-In order to give him a chance, I told him that first he can manage the money and refund me then I could give him some if he really needs (How much I give him depends on how fast he pay me back). I give him 8 hours to think and also tell him he has two choices:
1. Pay me back the money and get some. And nothing happens to him.
2. Not paying me back the money and he loose everything and will be in the “black list” of FBI.
But it seems that he do not want to choose (1) above and keeps asking me to get the templates.

Here is my decision:
- I will not cancel the dispute.
- He has to give me the total money.
- If both he and paypal do not refund my money, I will have my credit card company charged back and then paypal, police and his bank will have some things to work out with him.

I have decided to myself, I would spend $340(which he scammed) to buy this scammer's life if he does not change his mind!

 

I would sue him if I were you.

 

I think vnjporg's gotta see what he's up to first before going to far... vnjporg's a good person to do sales with, I've done sales with him before and he's sure he knows everything before doing any steps after the one he hasn't finished yet. Also btw, the links for the templates and all are broken... curious to see what's there...

You need to reply to paypal and let them know that the tracking number he gave you is bogus.

It looks like they are waiting for your reply and you need to do that by the 30th.

Let them know 1) the tracking number is bogus 2) he sold you software for which he doesn't own the license (give them the snapshots of the emails you got from vbulletin and phpfox).

YOU HAVE to reply to paypal. Also, Escalate the dispute to claim if you haven't already done so. Do it quick.

File/print/save all the screenshots and create a file and send them to your credit card once you have the transaction number.

I have done all things you said above yesterday and waiting for paypal's reply.
(I Escalated the dispute to claim 2 days before. Because of this, I could not reply directly to my dispute, I sent paypal all information yesterday).

+I have just got a an email forward from my hosting company(This mail they got from phpfox team).

The scammer told me he has credit card and I asked him use it to buy phpfox license and vb license as he promised but he said that his credit card was expired with his paypal account(because of my dispute).

Can anyone confirm this is right or not? I feel he keep telling me a lie!

 

I dont think lol credit card has nothing to do with paypal unless he is using paypal credit card which is availble for US Residents only..So he is lying to you dude!
