Whats you New business resolution?

2012 has had its marketing ups and downs. With the new Google panda and penguin updates to tighten-up SEO fraud and cheating, what's your business resolution for 2013?

 

I still believe that you should do what you understand best, do not cheat or try to overcome google and everything will be growing slowly but steady

 

Continue to be customer service oriented, treat every visitor/poster with respect they deserve. Invest more into paid advertising.

Quality product and good service for customers is very important.

 

My business resolution for 2013 and going forward into the future is to be more self reliant. At the moment 76% of my total income from all sources is due to a paycheck that I receive from the firm I work for.
The other 24% is a figure that I wish to increase slowly over time. I want to be 100% self sufficient and not have to be under contract. My hope is that some day all of my efforts will be for my benefit.
While I have loyalty for the firm I have greater loyalty and affection for myself.

 

I agree.. Trying to backdoor google will eventually get your slapped... Google is the internet now

 

My internet marketing strategy in 2013:
1. forum marketing
2. social media - facebook & twitter
3. SEO @ Google with affiliate programs - ClickBank, CJ.com, ShareAsale. Follow Google's current algorithm for top ranking of targeted keywords.
4. build a list with Aweber

Give it all up and start a Lemonade Stand

 

I agree with you all, there's no way you can outsmart Google. Just play by the rules and build the reputation of your site slowly but surely, and this will surely pay off in the future.

 

Not so fast, you need to explain a few things:

(1) What kind of lemons will you be using.(not all lemons are created equally)
(2) How will you construct said lemon stand?
(3) How do you intend to go about advertising your lemonade stand business?

 

My business resolutions focus on continuing to be profitable on ebay while branching out further into my own domains.. I wish everyone here a happy and prosperous new year!

Personally 2013 will be the year I get into media buys get some vas for boring work and continue to ignore Google's updates as it does not affect my ranking at all, oh yeah and to focus.. that is hard when working from home sometimes

 

Odesk is where it's at for the VA department, it'll blow your mind how easy it is. And as far as focusing....thank god for adderall

If my memory serves me correctly you will both need to have 50 posts. At which point you will move from "Peon" status all the way up to "Grunt".
