Got adsense. Anything better?

The site makes $180 a month from adsense. It generates 5,300+ unique hits a day and 70 percent of the traffic is from the US. I was hoping to make more ad revenue by adding another ad company on the site...one that either works with adsense or can surpass what I make off them now.

I was thinking about signing up to Tribalfusion. So my question is, based off my site's content (hip hop, music etc) will I generate more money using Tribalfusion then I do now with adsense? Also, I do not plan on putting popups on the site either.

Also, does anyone know of a site with high CPC rates. I just hate that google doesn't tell you how they come up with the figures that they come up with. That 180 can just be a slice of something MUCH bigger.

for a lot of people YPN pays significantly more than adsense but it depends on the niche.

CPM ads (tribalfusion) rarely outperform adsense.

The site pertains to all things hip hop. Will YPN make more then?

the only way to know with 100% certainty is to try it out.

my guess would be yes, since adsense + entertainment niches don't do too well.

YPN is supposed to pay more as disgust says, but isn't it still in Beta testing and unavailable to most people?

I think really it all depends on the niche your site is in. The jackpot is usually when you've built a site with a high click value but also a high CTR. Usually you only get one of the two but sometimes you get lucky. It is swings and roundabouts with Adsense.

    I would stay with adsense.

YPN has been in beta since a long time ago. Any idea when they might be available to more people? (out of beta)

You nearly have an eCPM of 1 dollars which is too much way down when your visitors are high percentage from US.

I would stay with adsense if I were you and try to reposition the ads on the page. Try putting them in the middle of the page if possible and make it blend in with the site instead of looking like a banner. That's the best way to increase your income

you could do much better than 180$ a month

that should be 180$ a day

    what is your domain?

Sounds like, judging by the number of uniques per day, that the company you use isn't the problem. At that point I would be more concerned with the placement of ads, quality of your traffic, etc...

What...no.. 5300 uniques does not even come close to 180 a day for just google ads... Itw ould take more than that.

My site gets about 2000 unique per day, but I use static banners that I find people who want to advertise myself. I plan on opening a new website shortly and I am hoping for about 10K per day within the first few months :) Thats my goal for this new website.

    Rather presumptuous.

I very easily reach $100 per day with between 3000-4000, so why not $180 with 5,000. Of course factors such as other ads on the page, content, quality of traffic, niche of ads all play a factor, but it is not impossible.

i agree im earning 150 per day often with only 1000-2000 uniques its not adsense thats the problem here.do a course in ad placement ,colour, text, url coloue etc.
