private messages?

Hi,

Not sure how to contact the admin team but i have 82 private messages in my account but i seem to be missing some.
What i mean is i can see 82 pm's but they only go back to a set date and im trying to locate my pm's from before this time?

How can i do this?

download all messages in your desktop and then search for it.

 

They will have been pruned and therefore no longer exist. Private Messages only last for a specific period of time before they are automatically deleted.

 

Deleted. Purged.

 

Messages are automatically deleted after 90 days.

I guess once deleted .. they are gone forever and cannot be retrieved back .

 

I bet that would happen to your message. And Shawn would not look for the back up of your private messages. So it's your responsibility to download and save it to your HD.

 

well, if you replied that message which one is deleted... maybe you will find on "sent messages"

Not at the user end. Maybe Shawn can do that.

 

I would guess that once they're purged, that means that the database entries are gone. Best case Shawn has a backup from the day you received it and agrees to search through it. Likely case is to take the loss and remember to back them up next time
