i cant seem to find anything on this in the forum.
Does the order of keywords in title affect SEO.
Does putting the keywords in the 1st-2nd position better?

I think you should order these keywords in order of importance as it is believed that the search engines weigh the keywords at the beginning greater than those at the end.

Generally speaking you'll want your keywords to be towards the top of the page rather than on the bottom of the page--and they should go first in title tags, etc.

So, a title tag like this:
    Company Name - Red Widgets

    is not as good as:
    Red Widgets - Company Name

Put the keywords up front where people can see them--not where they're buried or at the bottom of the page or at the end of a tag.

Hit and a miss. There is no #1 important seo factor. You need good relevant title tags just as much as you need good relevant links. A quality link is not a PR8 link you buy for a good discounted price. A quality link is a relevant link you have earned that doesn't look suspicious as if you bought it.

As far as your original question, sbongo, yes it does matter in short.
How I see it is this. Say you have keyword X. This is your main targeted keyword, probably because it gets the most traffic (you like traffic, right?). You also have some less searched terms, Y and Z that are worth optimizing for. I usually take these three keywords and construct them into a promotional sentence. Why? Because it's your title tag that describes your site on Google.

Do this: X Reviews and More! All about Y and Z!

Also keep in mind that Google only puts weight on the first 60 characters of your title tag. Keep it short, brief and attractive.

    Good luck!

I always start my title tag with the primary keyword and repeat it in some variation again.

Remember - Your title tag is the first impression, first impressions are everything! (with search engines traffic) Make sure your title tag describes your site whilst also making it sound appealing/attractive.
