    Hi all,

I am having a programming website and I would like to buy a Domain name for my website. I am little confused to choose the right one for me. Could you please suggest me the right domain name for my website.

My website contains source code, tips and other useful information to programmers. It covers VB, VBA, . net, etc.

I am thinking to choose one of the following domain names:

    codeitbetter.com
    freecodeforyou.com
    freecodeforu.com
    programmarsworld.com

If you think any other name will be good please suggest me that too.

Please suggest me the right domain name.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kanna.

personally , out of those four choices, I would choose codeitbetter.com , but beware, if those are available domain names, the domain sharks might be out hunting and might buy it (them) before you.

Have you tried nameboy.com and makewords.com? They have rather good keyword combination setup that can really helps in deciding a good name.

It also depends whether you want to consider SE traffic. Choosing a domain name with high searching keywords is always prefered, use Overture tool for this research. Good Luck!

By the way, I have PM you one .com domain name suggestion that is available but someone has taken the .net. Act fast if you want to grab that name :)

Rather than starting fresh with a new domain name, you might check out the expired domain auctions to pick up a domain name that already has traffic, has a history, and is already indexed in the search engines. I'm sure there are a lot of various domain names out there that were former "coding-related" sites that you could get for a decent amount of money.

I frequently will look for former sites that aren't doing very well in the search engines and offer to buy it from the owner if it's got decent links that are on-topic to the content that I want to put on the domain. Or, I check out expired domains that might be good. It's worth a shot to at least look for domains are expiring.

I would check overture and wordtracker to see related keywords, a domain with the right keyword will make your life much easier.

You can find out some here mate, you have to become a member though, it is a good forum purely for domain talk. They always list the latest domains expiring and other resources

    http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/deleted-top-level-domain-names.html

Also, I think the domain codeitbetter.com is the best out of your 4 mentioned.
