Are you sure your niche support that kind of traffic? Reason I ask is I have some clients who have niches that only attract totals of a few hundred queries a day per search engine, so they're never going to see 10k uniques a day, but seem happy with what they get as it's targeted. You've not considered the various offline advertising media - like print, radio and TV. The latter two may be out of reach for most, but printing flyers or sending mail is within everyone's reach.
I think you mean FREE porn. People seem to love either a) Entertainment sites with funny stuff or b) STUFF FOR FREE!
I totally agree with this. I have several niche sites that will never see 10K visitors per day, despite being at the top of the SERPs in G, Y, and MSN for ALL of my targeted keywords. Some of them get 1K per month! (but it works well for me)

Okay, while you build your links and such to compete with the top sites, have you tried chasing the long tail? In case you or anyone reading doesn't know, the long tail is the 'sweep' of similar searches that surrounds the very popular and competitive searches - often portrayed like a dinosaurs tail trailing back from the most popular phrase in that niche. Making lots of pages that include 'long tail' phrases and words will help you collect these less popular but still regularly searched terms. Easiest way to do this is via articles and blogs on your site that talk about a specific topic, then the next post moves on to another topic - all carefully chosen from the 'long tail'. DP's keyword tool is good for examining the long tail behind a popular search.
If your nich suports that kind of traffic go for any methof of advertisment of course if you can aford
What is your opinion on that? I know that people doing that will not come up and speak openly but could someone give some more examples of gray hat technique... sometime is not easy to make the difference.

I just think 10k is a veery large amount. And only SEO and internet marketing won't bring you there for at least next couple of years, unless you want to spend money on buying big ad spaces on very popular sites. As others said radio, print would work also, but for that you'll need big budget also. Good luck
Rather than hits or visits, try to concentrate on conversions. For example, if you are king of a niche that only gets 500 visits a day, but you are converting 5% to sales, then that would be 25 sales a day.
website is only 4 months old but domain name is more than 3 years old. At the moment we have around 150-200 visitors a day. Few of our webpages have PR4 and Alexa ranking is 900,000...for now
