I don't think your rates are high at all. Where I am from even a level 4 writer will receive $1.50 per 100 words once under contract. And if they can prove that they can write at a professional level, they can then expect to receive between $5 to $10 per 100 words. The writers on this forum appear to give their services away. I won't even tell you what I used to receive for my work when I wrote full time, as you probably wouldn't believe me. Anyway, good luck to you with all.
