After a long break from IM I'm starting from scratch. Trying to build a new website to make some income with. Seems like there's been a lot of changes. I basically have all my marketing and design skills still. So I have that to my benefit. Plus I have a bit of funds to work with. Problem is I'm just perplexed as to what to do. Just feels like a tremendous uphill battle. I still have some good ad copy I could use, just plug it into a different product and maybe make a video sale page for it. Just what though, that's the problem. I narrowed it down to knowing 3 things. 1) I need a product 2) I need a website and 3) I need trayraffffic. (what's wrong with the T word? wow) .... so I'm starting at number 1 right now. Does anyone have any suggestions or general industries I might consider???
Good luck buddy! Since you've been away awhile just do research and spend some time absorbing information.
Warriors had a interesting offer that I found earlier today at: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior...ebsite-before-world-ends-21st-dec-2012-a.html I have no experience with this seller, but their ad sure is nice A lot has changed in the last several years so you have a little catching up to do. Good Luck and Happy Holidays
My strategy has always been promoting affiliate products... and I've done quite well over the years... Choosing the right product / niche is the key. The most profitable niches are typically in the health and financial fields. I've tried both, but I've found the most success with financial products and services (see my sig). For me, my strategy is to build a website around a particlar product or service, offer lots of supporting content, reviews, information, tips, advice, etc. -- and then drive traffic through a variety of methods. SEO has always been a primary focus for me, but it takes much more time than in the past. You shouldn't expect any decent ranking for at least a year with a new website! Social has become a new method for building your brand and driving traffic, but it's not effective for all niches. And paid advertising can be effective too, but the most profitable niche's are extremely competitive. So unless you have a big budget and are willing to take a loss while you test out campaigns, it may not be the best choice. As long as you're not expecting to make BIG MONEY over night, there are a lot of opportunities. But it takes lots of time and persistance... GOOD LUCK!
Youtube CPA and List Building are 2 hot methods. Pick a good niche with good buyers. Remember to collect leads and followup using Email Marketing to increase profits.
Whatever you do I'd advise you not to be reliant on free traffic.....namely Google in the main. Explore paid traffic avenues, there are many cheap sources, and as someone has already said you should build and nurture your list. With a responsive list you are Google proof!
