My site is separate, i.e. www.xxxxx.com, but it's base is that of a blogger, it's hosted at it. I want to make a forum now, but i don't know how i can operate it's FTP, is there any possibility? That i can upload a forum in this domain?

    Thanks

I used to have a blogger blog at my domain where I embedded a forum in one of its pages and it looked great. What I did was create a separate page with no columns just for the forum and, if I recall correctly, pasted the embed code for the forum into a post and published. Viola! Instant forum.

    I used Nabble.com' s embeddable forums: http://www.nabble.com/

Their forums are very powerful with more features than you would expect in an embeddable forum and highly customizable. Mine matched my site perfectly.

If you own a personal hosting, you install again WordPress for new category" forum". It is more elegant and you manage forum yourself.

    Have you tried Forumotion ?
I was immediately satisfied of their Admin Panel and the Support which is available to assist you with design stuff.
Also, there are many free skins to begin : http://en.hitskin.com/
