Simplest payment possible

Here is what I would want. I would like to tell paypal (through php) how much money the buyer owes, and paypal would just make a form where they could pay with credit card or their paypal account. I don't need any fancy extras like email receipts or itineraries and from what I understand all IPN does is notify that the user has paid, and can receive the product automatically, but I'm going to be doing that manually.

Is that do-able? ...for free I mean.

Paypal has several ways to integrate their services. I suggest logging into your account and checkout their integration section if you haven't already.

 

well i want the form to be generated with the proper amount? HTML can't handle variables and things like that.

ok well i realized i can generate a button automatically, but can users pay through CC with it?

Yes, if you have premiere or business account you can accept CC payment.
