Advise For Newbies ! That I wish someone wold have told me..

Hey guy's
I know how hard it is for those of you just starting out and getting advise from all different directions, so I am going to give you a "Pull Up"

Below is a list of things that if you stick to them it will increase your chances of success online greatly.

Some common practices!

1. Master one traffic source before you move on.
2. Do not pick a niche in the IM or the weight loss niche, you want to pick something more specifically targeted with less competition, a niche in a niche . Example:You do not want to go after the whole niche you want a specific part of it like' college students looking to make extra money or lets say for the dating niche you would want something specific like big men looking for big women? Something more specific to your audience .Broad is no good.
3. Everything that you do you should be building your email list! A list is your asset!
4. Get into a niche that you know a lot about or love! This way it is not like work because you will love to write about it and chances are you will be more creative.
5. Start a blog about something that you love !
6. You are "Never Going To Fail Or Lose Money" You are learning and you must fail before you learn otherwise you will never learn.
7. Everything that you do you have got to track. Do not run a PPC campaign without tracking in place. Every link that you use needs to be tracked.
8. Every page of your site should only have one goal no matter what you make it, you only put one goal per page. Example if you are selling a product on a webpage then you do not offer a email form to sign up on.1 goal per page so everything gets funneled to that goal.
9. Get involved on forums and ask questions that you do not know the answer's too.
10. Take action and do not look back or listen to negativity !

Everything in your list makes sense and good advice but for me,

This is the most Important thing.. Yeah of course you need some traffic, but when you do what you love, traffic will eventually follow you..

I definitely agree with the importance of taking action and picking a niche that you're actually interested in. Too many times I've seen people pick niches that they have no experience in, and it shows in their results.

I would add that somebody should have told me that you don't make a damn cent just dreaming of the tons of money that each product headline promises you.

I wish somebody would have told me years ago: just focus and follow through. Don't keep buying courses. Just take action and keep at it until you succeed or learn something by trying and failing.

TAKE ACTION. By far my favorite because people stay in "Learn" mode too long. Trying to learn everything before stepping on the field. If you just learn and take action immediately, you'll soon see results..

Some basic but good advice for anybody just starting out. Stick to these basic rules and you'll do well in the IM world.
