is you have proper link structure done one of your website where most of the pages are properly linked... then you can skip sitemap.. but yes but if you are not able to do this properly then better to have sitemap where you can include all the pages of your website.

its very very important dude. its like a map of ur site. otherwise no one will know which way to go and end up getting lost. put a site map on the homepage i am sure it will make ur visitors happy
Agree with cellulartrader. If each page on the site is linked to 3-5 indexed pages, you are all set. For some of my 5 year old sites, with thousands of pages, it is impossible to generate sitemaps now, but since everything is interlinked well, I am not using sitemaps. Google still finds all the new pages.
Sitemap is very Important, especially in your internal Linking Proccess. Also it ois very Important 4 your Indexing Pages.
