Do you guys keep track of traffic from forums

Hi Everyone,

Do you guys keep track of how much traffic you're getting from participating on forums like DP? If so, how many visitors are you getting from your sig on a daily basis. I don't keep track myself but have noticed a slight increase in my Adsense revenues on days when I do lot of posting.

 

Maybe the adsense increase is cuz of the revenue sharing? DP users are less likely to click on ads...anyhow, I do get visitors from DP actually quite a lot of them depending on which of my sites Iive on my signature of blog post...I don't expect DP users to visit my Christmas site and etc..although I do get a good number of them visiting those sites but...it's more effective with seo/marketing related stuff..

Anyhow I do keep track of people coming to my site from other forums inmy niche...sometimes it's from forums ive never visited so I do check in at times to see what people are saying about my site in forums.

 

i do get a lot a lot a lot of traffic from the right forum.
but i guess it's not so much about merely posting.
it usually comes fromt the forums where i post honest commetns and help other members..

i guess when people of the forum trust you, they'll visit your site to take a look at what you ve to offer

 

I suspect I get a fair amount of business from my posts, ads notwithstanding...I just never bothered to trace which sales came from the forums.

 

Forums are a gold mine for traffic and backlinks. They might not click on ads but they have a high conversion rate. Check out http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=186733 if you want to get lots of traffic from forums.

 

i do check the stats, and keep track of visitors in forums i participate, i like to keep in check of my traffic and its growth

i get about 10 - 20 hits a day.i check via statcounter tracker... how much is a link in your signature richie ni

 

I think hits don't equal to traffic..I get about 15 visitors from dp.
Umm,I'd like to sell it for around $85/mo .You'll get not only traffic,but also 2K+ backlinks

 

yeah sorry that is visitors, 10 - 20 visitors a day. sorry a bit pricey for me but goodluck with selling it, im sure someone will buy it. thanks

yup i used to get around 20-30 visitors from Dp

 

I get a handfull of uniques a day from DP and one other forum. Definatly a worthwhile traffic generator, especially if you have a good amount of posts.

i am in another forum a most of my traffic came from there i just join here so i would see whats it like it does help my adsense

 

I keep track of all the traffic i get from anywhere... with a good stats program its not hard eh? is it ;p
